Cedar building, unit C-205, week 37 (mid-September). To purchase or obtain more information, please e-mail the owner.
Located in West Vail, this property is close to almost everything in Vail. A free shuttle takes you the short distance into downtown Vail and a free bus will take you to Vail, Avon, and Beaver Creek. This is a quality property that has obtained a gold crown from Resort Condominiums International (RCI) and other awards from Interval International (II). It is managed by Marriott and is a deeded property. You really own it. It has been recently renovated and more unit improvements are scheduled. It is on the second floor. No elevator is present in this particular building.
Property is a "red week" for exchange purposes. It sleeps six, one bedroom, two baths, full kitchen, balcony, fireplace (wood provided), big clubhouse, and privacy. It is an attractive location. The clubhouse has a large pool, game rooms, exercise rooms, walleyball courts, racquetball courts, steam rooms, and a lot more. There is a Jacuzzi right outside the door, in the clubhouse, and at the other resort buildings too. The week for sale is during fall when the aspen are in full color. The weather is almost always beautiful during that time of year. Cool nights and warm days are the rule. The golf courses are open and Vailfest ( a weekend of celebration of fall) usually occurs during this week. Prices are good because it is between the summer and winter high occupancy periods. You can get some really great deals on skis, etc. The schedule for this property is: in on Friday. no earlier than four in the afternoon; and out by ten in the morning on the following Friday. This means you can usually get the lower cost weekend prices for flights.
I (the owner) have owned various timeshare weeks at this property and others for many years. This was my first timeshare property and I enjoyed it a lot. I have owned it since 1983. However, due to business and other concerns, I am finding it difficult to take the time off to really enjoy it. (Instead of enjoying it, I have rented it out or exchanged it for the last five years.) I held it for sentimental reasons, but think it is time to let it go to someone else who can really enjoy it.
If you buy from the resale office at the resort you would pay about $6,000 for this timeshare property. Offered now, through the owner, for only $4,500. Buy it now and you get to keep what the Realtor and other fees would take. Further, since I have two weeks space-banked, I will let them go with it too. That means you get two weeks anywhere in the world and the condo for that price. Since a week is worth about $700 to $1,000, that is up to $2,000 in added value. Can be purchased by credit card if desired. Check or financing closing handled by a title company located in Vail, Colorado. The annual maintenance fee is about $350. Thus, you get a luxurious full 7-days for only $50/night on every year. Since it is one of the best interval ownership locations in the area, it's a hot property for exchanges and rents well. (Rent covers the maintenance fees well.)
