The Timeshare Spot
Independent timeshare property review.
Current property and location review:
Embarcadero Pacífico, Avenue La Marina Sur, Esq. con An Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico, phone number not known.
- Borders the Pacific Ocean and supports its own beach areas nearby
- Has its own marina
- Many within unit luxuries (balconies, private whirlpools, etc)
- A nice resort for those who really like the area and want to boat
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico has become a tourist Mecca. Yet it still hold many amenities and flavor of its beginnings. There are many opportunities to go to nearby beaches and play along the shores of the Pacific.
The Vallarta area, where all the hotels and main city resides, is not the best location to go swimming,. The river has a high sediment and debris content that causes the beaches to not be very attractive and discourages many swimmers. However, this is not a problem as many charter boats and opportunities have been made available to take people to beaches that are among the finest anywhere. The resort supports one of these for its guests and has helpful assistance to book passage to the many other locations.
The airport is fairly close to the resort and the old city is not too far away either. In addition to the many shops and other attractions available in the nearby city, tours of the surrounding city and some of the old features once used in Hollywood films abound. Indeed, the film "Predator" was filmed nearby and a short tourist bus ride away.
This resort is located on a peninsula known as the Golden Zone of Puerto Vallarta. This resort supports an exceptional extra offering that affords the visitor more than most other resorts. They have their own marina. If you are a boating enthusiast, or even have your own boat, this is the place for you. You can rent space, rent the use of, or just hire boat transport and recreation from this resort like no other we have yet visited.
A car is not recommended. The area has taxies and shuttle transport that is sufficient to most any need. Driving in this city by a person that is not familiar with the area and the nuances of how driving is done in the area can present difficulties that many would prefer to avoid.
The resort is highly recommended. Especially for the boating enthusiasts and their family and friends

Highly recommended for people that enjoy water, boating, and a tourist atmosphere that doesn't go too far so as to be objectionable. Rating on a scale of 5:
It's a 4.
Scale is 5=don't miss out, 4=be hard to not enjoy, 3= it's OK and worth a visit, 2=nice but nothing special, and 1=forget it
