Vegetarian Singles Events

This group is composed of single vegetarian and vegan individuals that belong to or are affiliated with the Vegetarian Society of Colorado (http://www.vsc.org). This society was founded in 1975 and has chapters in Boulder, Colorado Springs (Pikes Peak), Denver, Durango, Evergreen (mountain areas), Fort Collins, and Grand Junction. The singles group is made up of over 60 individuals that follow the principles of the society as a nonprofit nonsectarian educational organization dedicated to upholding the standards of vegetarianism. (A vegetarian is a person who lives on a diet free of meat [mammal, fish, fowl, etc.] in any form. A vegan is a person who adheres to a vegetarian diet without the addition of dairy products, eggs, or other animal products.) At present, in Colorado, only the Denver Metro area has a singles event group.
In general, an event is held on the first Saturday of each month. The following events are planned or were held in the past few months.
